City of Taylor Park Facilities

The City of Taylor Park Facilities are for the public’s enjoyment, relaxation, and family fun, so please follow all park rules. Anyone disobeying park rules will be asked to leave by city authorities and the city reserves the right to take more formal action if necessary.

The Splash Pad is unsupervised. Use at your own risk.

Operating Hours: May 1 – September 30 10 AM – 8 PM

This water is chlorinated.

Children under 14 years of age shall not use the splash pad unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

Swimsuits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times.

FOR HEALTH and SAFETY reasons, children under 3 years old shall not use the splash pad water features. The water features were designed for use by persons who are at least 3 years old. All diaper-using persons shall use plastic pants with tight fitting elastic at the legs and waist or swim diapers. DO NOT change diapers at the Splash Pad.

Anyone who currently has or within the past 2 weeks has had DIARRHEA shall not use the splash pad.

Anyone who has an area of exposed sub-epidermal tissue, bandaged area, open blisters, cuts, scrapes, etc. are advised NOT TO USE the Splash Pad.

DO NOT drink the Splash Pad Water Use the drinking fountain provided.

Wash hands after using the restroom.

DO NOT sit on the ground water geysers or drains.

DO NOT put your eye (s) in direct contact with a ground geyser or water spray device.

NO spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose or similar behavior in the Splash Pad.

NO alcoholic beverages, glass containers, tents, or water balloons allowed.

NO foreign objects allowed inside the Splash pad are (lawn chairs, coolers, pool or water play toys, etc.)

NO skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, allowed in Splash Pad area.

NO food allowed inside the splash pad area. Public picnic tables are provided.

Patrons engaging in horseplay and or foul language will be asked to leave.

NO athletic cleats and/or equipment allowed in splash pad area.

Clean gym shoes, water shoes, or bare feet are permitted.

NO animals or pets allowed inside the Splash Pad and Playground area.

IN THE EVENT OF THREATENING WEATHER, THE SPLASH PAD WILL BE CLOSED. WE ASK THAT PATRONS GO TO A SAFE AREA (HOME OR CAR.) REMEMBER, ‘LIGHTNING KILLS!”
