City Clerk

The office of the City Clerk/Treasurer is committed to providing the highest level of service at all times. The City Clerk works directly with the Mayor, City council, and the public. The City Clerk of Taylor is responsible for the day to day management of the city operations. All department heads report to the City Clerk. Along with all financial documentation, the Clerk’s office has the responsibility of preparing the agenda for all regular council meetings and recording all official actions of the City Council. The City Clerk serves as the custodian of city records, which includes city ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements and council meetings as well as personnel. The City Clerk also serves as the supervisor over municipal elections and provides information to residents when requested.

Council meetings are scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. This schedule may change due to conflicts and holidays.

Please check the community calendar to confirm meeting dates. Requests to be on the agenda must be submitted by the Wednesday before the scheduled Council meeting.  Copies of the current agenda, minutes, ordinances and forms may be found here on the website in the future.
